Rich TEMPLETOn (SAG/AFTRA)

Rich is an actor, improviser, and solo-performer from New York City. A former biochemistry researcher (and junior varsity quarterback), Rich has worn a variety of creative hats: experimental writer for Blue Man Group, improviser for Barstool Sports, and character comedian for UCB (Characters Welcome). Rich has brought his late-night-gonzo clown show The Piece (dir. Geoff Grimwood) to the PIT, Phoenicia Playhouse, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it received the “The Fringe Experience Award” from the Wee Review. You may recognize Rich from commercials, including one where he plays Cookie Monster’s roommate.

Rich starred as the henchman Lucky in Porter Pictures comedy/horror feature The Blacklight (Amazon Prime). His work has been described as “simply extraordinary” (William Propes, Rotten Tomatoes/The Independent Critic).

You can find Rich performing improv and sketch at The Armory Comedy at The Tank Theater, along with Young Ethel’s.

Rich is trained in Meisner (Esper Studio), improv (PIT), and Clown (Pandemonium/Chris Bayes).
